Pickens Azalea Festival - Celebrating 30 Years

Will be held April 18th and 19th, 2014 on Main Street in downtown Pickens. The Azalea Festival began in 1983. Spring is celebrated in Pickens, in a family-oriented atmosphere. Hosted by local and area civic-minded organizations, the Azalea Festival resembles a large family reunion where EVERYONE is invited. Original artwork by artists, multiple-stages where music is filling the air, Cruise-In, 5K walk/run, special activities for children, and a wide variety of food. Join us for this fun packed Friday and Saturday in April.

Azalea Festival Shuttle

Additional parking is available at Pickens High School (hwy 178). The Azalea Festival will again offer a courtesy shuttle to the festival provided by Grace Methodist Church of Pickens.

The shuttle pick up/drop off will be at Pickens High School on hwy 178 to Main St & Ann St of the festival. The service will be available from approximately 11:00am- to 3:00pm on Saturday April 19th. Donations are excepted to help cover fuel cost.


Hagood Mill Shuttle


Shuttle will also be available to see historic Hagood Mill (138 Hagood Mill Rd, Pickens, SC 29671) on Saturday during the Azalea Festival. Provided by Grace Methodist Church, the mill is located just off hwy 178 out of Pickens. One of the oldest know gristmills in SC. The mill will be in operation during the festival Saturday April 19th.
